Coaching Tips
Slow the eccentric phase (lowering) to 3–4 seconds for greater muscle damage and growth stimulus.
Brace your core before every rep — think 360° pressure through your entire midsection, not just sucking in.
Keep elbows tucked at roughly 45° on pressing movements to protect your shoulder joint long-term.
Drive through your heels on squats and leg press to shift load toward the glutes and hamstrings.
Leave 48 hours between training the same muscle group — growth happens during rest, not during the lift.
Add weight only when you can complete every rep with perfect form. Quality reps beat ego weight every time.
Slow down and consciously squeeze the target muscle at the peak of each contraction for better activation.
Exhale on the exertion phase (push/pull), inhale on the return. Never hold your breath during heavy lifts.
